MEET YOUR PHYSIO
Courtney Finlay
Courtney completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) degree at CQUniversity in Rockhampton and has been working in private practice in Rockhampton for the past 3.5 years.

Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and presentations, treating everything from musculoskeletal injuries to neurological conditions and cardiovascular rehabilitation. Courtney has developed a strong interest in women’s health, post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries and concerns, and geriatric rehabilitation - particularly in helping older clients build confidence through falls prevention and balance training.

She is also qualified in acupuncture and dry needling and holds certifications in reformer and matwork Pilates, which she enjoys integrating into her physiotherapy sessions to provide a more holistic and movement-focused approach.

In her sessions, Courtney’s goal is for clients to feel safe, heard, and empowered. She believes that understanding the body and its conditions is key to recovery, placing strong emphasis on education and collaboration. She works closely with clients to create personalised plans that support their goals and help them return to the activities they love.

Outside the treatment room, Courtney can often be found in the studio teaching Pilates classes, where she enjoys designing creative, engaging programs that challenge clients and “bring the burn.”
